Kalshi Secures First MLB Team-Level Deals with Five Franchises
Kalshi signed multi-year deals with the Atlanta Braves, Boston Red Sox, Los Angeles Dodgers, San Diego Padres, and San Francisco Giants. Its first team-level MLB entry; league talks continue.

The agreements give Kalshi stadium signage, LED board ads, social media and radio promotion. Moreover, the company gets fan events and club-specific in-app offers. At Dodger Stadium, Kalshi secured naming rights to the Gold Glove Bar. Dodgers fans also get bonus activations at Centerfield Plaza. Through these partnerships, MLB fans can trade on game results, player stats, and season-long futures on the Kalshi platform.
‘Fans already engage with their favourite teams on Kalshi, this is a natural extension,’ said Adam Barrick, Head of Sports Partnerships at Kalshi.
Both Boston and LA had teased the deals before the announcement. These five add to Kalshi’s existing sports roster: NHL, Chicago Blackhawks, LALIGA North America, and Argentina’s football association. FIFA World Cup involvement earlier this year also boosted revenue.
The Red Sox deal comes amid a Massachusetts restraining order on Kalshi’s sports contracts, currently suspended pending appeal. Legal battles continue in other states, Michigan blocked sports betting on Kalshi in June. Rivals are also active: Novig partnered with the New York Mets on July 30, and Polymarket followed with the New York Yankees on August 6.
According to Kalshi’s internal data, these five clubs represent about 17% of all MLB franchises, with a combined fan base of 60-65 million and around 9 million X followers. Baseball trading volume on Kalshi is up more than 36 times year-over-year, with nearly $60 million already traded on World Series futures alone.
